2006 District 1 Southern Region Conference
Flotilla 5-10 Representin'
The First Southern District's annual weekend-long conference took place in March 2006, and several members of Flotilla 5-10 helped represent New York. They spent their days in training sessions and seminars, but still managed to have some fun in the off-hours. Of course, they took pictures, some of which are publishable.
We start with a group photo, showing flotilla members in uniform, ready for the conference.
Loida and Zach then demonstrated their semaphore technique. This is the new international signal for "I can't see what the guy behind me is doing."
After a long day of conference attendance, nothing beats a good meal and a few drinks with friends. Is that a small gasoline can on the table?
Clearly, the drinks were flowing smoothly. Or perhaps this was the effect Arun intended when he took the photo.
.Soon enough, though, folks were back to looking professional, even while hanging out in the lobby.
